The 131G2602 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase power into a regulated output that allows pump and blower systems to adjust speed according to real-time flow or pressure demands. In water-treatment plants and HVAC loops, this modulation lowers energy use, limits mechanical stress, and keeps process variables stable. The drive can regulate motor speed as operating conditions change, reducing the need for mechanical throttling in fluid-handling systems.
The inverter delivers a power rating of 5.5 kW, which corresponds to 7.5 HP at the motor shaft. Steady-state load is supplied by a continuous current of 24.2 A, and the upstream network must accommodate an apparent power of 8.72 kVA. Internal losses during full-speed operation reach 310 W, and the resulting heat is removed through the convection path built into the B1 frame. Control is provided through a graphical local control panel that allows direct access to operating parameters without external tools. The unit accepts three-phase power at 50 or 60 Hz and is supplied without a brake chopper. Its A, B, C, and D option slots are empty, leaving the standard control arrangement free of additional modules and related wiring.
The enclosure is rated IP55 / Type 12, and its aluminum housing with gasketed covers blocks dust and water jets during wall-mounted operation in mechanical rooms. Input compatibility spans 200–240 VAC, making the drive suitable for low-voltage distribution systems without transformers. Conducted emissions are attenuated by an integrated filter rated RFI Class A1/B (C1), helping facilities meet applicable electromagnetic compatibility limits. A protective PCB coating shields the circuitry from condensation and airborne contaminants.
