The 131F6643 variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series and belongs to the VLT AQUA Drive product group. It modulates induction motor speed in water and wastewater plants so that flow and pressure follow real-time demand while reducing energy use. The unit connects directly to low-voltage mains and is typically paired with centrifugal pumps that need adjustable-speed operation. By varying the frequency supplied to the motor, the drive can reduce unnecessary pump output during periods of lower demand.
Its input section accepts a line voltage of 380–480 VAC, allowing use on standard industrial feeders without an isolation transformer.
