The 131B9041 frequency converter is produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It provides variable-speed control for centrifugal pumps, blowers, and other water-handling machinery used in industrial and municipal systems. By adjusting motor frequency in response to process demand, the converter helps maintain the required flow or pressure while reducing energy consumption and mechanical wear. Its internal control algorithm is optimized for the quadratic-torque loads commonly associated with pumps and similar liquid-moving equipment.
The drive accepts an input of 380–480 VAC and operates with three-phase power, allowing connection to standard industrial power systems. Its inverter section provides a continuous mechanical output of 37 kW and draws up to 50.6 kVA of apparent power at full load. Thermal dissipation is 698 W, so the installation must provide enough ventilation to remove heat from the enclosure.
