Product Description:
The 176F7303 is an AC micro series drive from Danfoss that is designed to operate on a three-phase supply rated at 200 to 240 VAC. Its supported line frequency is 50/60 Hz, with ±10% tolerance and it permits a maximum imbalance of ±2% between input phases. The drive’s input system withstands a short circuit capacity of up to 5000 A and it maintains power factor between 0.90 to 1.0 at rated conditions.
The 176F7303 drive features six configurable digital inputs labeled M0 through M5 and one analog input is available on terminal AV1. Its analog input supports 0 to 10 VDC or 4 to 20 mA signals and its input resistance is 47000 Ohm in voltage mode as well as 250 Ohm in current mode. The unit’s one programmable analog output is located at terminal AFM and its output range is 0 to 10 VDC for frequency/current indication. A relay output is provided with form C contacts on RA, RB, RC points, with rating of 120 VAC or 28 VDC at 5 A and its contact rating is 240 V AC at 2.5 A. This 176F7 drive offers a photocoupler output on MO1 and MCM with a maximum of 48 V and 50 mA, while serial communication is supported via RS-485 interface on RJ 11 connector. Its output section delivers zero to full supply voltage across motor terminals, with an adjustable frequency range from 0.1 Hz to 400 Hz.
The 176F7303 drive supports rated motor voltage of 200 to 240 V, with continuous power of 1 kVA and 2.4 kW shaft output. Its ramp time adjustment is available from 0.1 seconds up to 600 seconds and its starting torque is specified as 150% for one minute duty, while the peak starting torque of 200% is available for five seconds only. The drive supports Bussmann JJN 10 A input fuse.
Frequently Asked Questions about 176F7303:
Q: Why is a photocoupler output included in the 176F7303 drive?
A: The photocoupler provides electrical isolation for signals, enhancing safety and ensuring noise-free communication with external devices.
Q: How does the 0.1–400 Hz frequency adjustment benefit motor control in the 176F7303?
A: It allows precise speed regulation across a broad range, making the drive suitable for variable load applications that require flexibility in motor operation.
Q: How does the 176F7303 maintain performance with a 2% input phase imbalance tolerance?
A: This tolerance improves drive stability when supply conditions are uneven, helping prevent voltage imbalance issues in industrial power networks.
Q: What advantage does the programmable analog output of the 176F7303 offer?
A: It enables real-time monitoring of drive parameters, such as motor frequency or current, for integration with external monitoring equipment.
Q: Why does the 176F7303 support both 0–10 VDC and 4–20 mA analog inputs?
A: The supporting of both standards ensures compatibility with a wide range of sensors and controllers used in automation systems.
