The 178B2176 is a compact and extremely flexible converter manufactured by Danfoss Automation to operate in servo systems and provide accurate motion control. This converter is flexible in operation and can be easily mounted by well-trained personnel. The front panel of this product features a control unit made up of a display unit and a keyboard through which operators can modify the operation of the product using specific configuration parameters. Although this unit does not produce a high degree of heat or noise during operation, it comes with an air blower and heat sink which operates together to maintain a cool internal environment. The installation position of this product should also allow for easy movement of cool air around the product unit.

The 178B2176 frequency converter contains about 8 programmable digital inputs, the voltage level at this input is between 0 to 24 volts, while the input resistance is estimated to be approximately 2 kiloohms.
