Product Description:
The 178B0797 is a heavy-duty HVAC Drive. It is used in demanding situations where there must be reliable power and precise motor control. It is available for use with supply voltages of 3 x 525, 550, 575, or 600 V with tolerance of ±10%. It is made to operate in the frequency range of 48–62 Hz ±1%.
This drive features an overload torque of 110%. Its rating for starting torque is marked as 110% for a minute to allow smooth motor start-ups even under heavier conditions. It allows handling of higher loads for brief times without compromising performance. Upon acceleration, the drive maintains 100% torque to deliver smooth speed changes and steady transitions in system operation. Safety and protection are built into it's design. It comes with a short circuit current rating of no more than 100,000 A. This makes it possible to be installed in power networks of high strength. It also provides support for maximum supply voltage imbalance to as high as ±3.0% of rated input, which guarantees stable operation when voltage conditions are less than favorable. The 178B0797 drive is made with very small sizes to help easy installation. The size for A is 31.5 inches. Also, B is sized at 14.6 inches and C is 13.2 inches. This will give it a better design and ability to fit into different installations. It is made to fit into air-handling units, pumps, and fan controls in big commercial or industrial facilities.
It gives superior torque performance, better voltage applicability, and reliable overload management. The 178B0797 can retain strong electrical tolerance alongside practical design. This is a good choice for areas needing durability and efficiency along with better motor control.
