The 175Z7371 Frequency Converter provides a wide frequency operating range and is designed for efficiency and precise control. It is ideal for asynchronous motors. This model delivers accurate speed and torque output.

The Danfoss 175Z7371 frequency converter operates with a supply frequency range of 48 – 62 Hz ± 1 % for flexibility in power supply conditions. It supports a rated motor frequency of 50/60 Hz and can output frequencies between 0 – 1000 Hz with a resolution of ± 0.003 Hz. This converter is designed with precise control capabilities in both open and closed-loop motor applications. The system response time is 3 milliseconds that allows fast adjustments in motor operation. The speed control range of the model in open loop operation is 1:100 of synchronous speed. For open-loop systems, the speed accuracy is ± 7.5 rpm below 1500 rpm and ± 0.5 % of actual speed above 1500 rpm. In closed-loop control, process accuracy reaches ± 1.5 rpm below 1500 rpm and ± 0.1% above. The converter allows unlimited switching on output and supports ramp times from 1 to 3600 seconds for both acceleration and deceleration processes. It allows approximately one switch per 2 minutes on the L1, L2 and L3 supply inputs. It is built to withstand short circuit currents up to 100,000 A.

The starting torque of the 175Z7371 frequency converter is 110 % for 1 minute. A higher breakaway torque can reach up to 160 % for 0.5 seconds using parameter 110. Acceleration and overload torque are both rated at 100 % and 110 % respectively. The device features a displacement power factor greater than 0.98 and a true power factor of 0.90 at rated load.
