Product Description:
The 175Z7365 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. The drive adjusts motor frequency and voltage so that pumps, cooling towers, and air-handling systems operate at the speed requested by a building automation controller. This variable-speed operation reduces unnecessary motor loading and supports energy-efficient climate control in commercial and industrial facilities. The drive is suitable for HVAC equipment that requires controlled acceleration, stable speed regulation, and integration with a centralized building control system.
The drive has a continuous output rating of 11 kW/15 HP, providing sufficient power for medium-sized supply fans and hydronic pumps. It accepts a three-phase input range of 380–460 VAC, allowing direct connection to standard 400 V industrial power without an external transformer. The Compact NEMA 1 enclosure provides a ventilated, finger-safe housing for wall or panel mounting inside a clean mechanical equipment room. Operator access is available through an integral local control panel (LCP), which provides start, stop, and parameter controls without requiring a separate programming device. The electronics use a standard hardware configuration with the baseline component arrangement for this drive model.
The drive has no internal EMC filter, so external radio-frequency interference mitigation may be necessary when it is installed near sensitive instrumentation. Its uncoated circuit boards require placement in a clean, dry area where condensation, conductive dust, and corrosive airborne contaminants are controlled. The Graham application package supports the intended building-control profile and associated operating functions. No expansion modules are installed, so communication cards and dedicated HVAC accessories must be added externally when an application requires them. Network connections should use compatible external interfaces, while any required harmonic or electromagnetic interference controls must be selected according to the surrounding electrical system. Proper enclosure ventilation should also be maintained so internally generated heat can leave the housing during continuous operation.
