Product Description:

The 175Z7358 Frequency Converter supports rated motor frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz operation. The unit ensures consistent performance with automatic optimization and configurable input range. The frequency converter allows unlimited switching on output during operation cycles.

The 175Z7358 frequency converter from Danfoss includes an advanced control card that manages inverter performance. The control card generates pulse patterns to convert DC voltage into AC voltage with variable frequency. Eight programmable digital inputs are provided in this converter with terminal numbers 16, 17, 18, 19, 27, 29, 32 and 33. The input voltage range is 0 – 24 V DC with PNP positive logic. The maximum permissible input voltage for the inputs is 28 V DC. The input resistance is rated at 2 kΩ and the scanning time per input is 3 milliseconds. This ensures reliable and fast digital input processing. The system incorporates Automatic Energy Optimization (AEO) for efficiency. The AEO adjusts the U/f ratio automatically to guarantee optimum load dependent energy consumption. This eliminates the need for manual assessment of installation characteristics. The AEO is factory enabled that ensures energy savings across varying load conditions. The feature maximizes energy utilization without requiring user intervention or fine tuning. This frequency converter is equipped with an integrated PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controller that enables precise closed loop regulation of motor speed and torque. The built in control algorithm eliminates the need for external regulators.

The 175Z7358 frequency converter is highly efficient in HVAC applications where loads fluctuate. The ramp times of the converter are adjustable from 1 second up to 3600 seconds. The ramp time adjustment enhances process flexibility from very short to extended ramps. The model provides stable motor control with minimal setup and automatic optimization.
