Product Description:
175Z7060 is a Danfoss VLT 6000 series unit. Its sub-series is VLT 6062. The converter is designed primarily for control of fans and pump in large scale HVAC applications. The converter uses the least amount of energy during operation, leading to exceptional energy efficiency and cost savings. This high power unit supplies a typical motor output of 45 kilowatts (60 Horsepower). This unit must be installed in the vertical position. The minimum spacing required on the top and bottom sides of the vertical unit is 200 millimeters. To prevent overheating, the ambient temperature must not exceed 40 ⁰C. Output of the converter will derate at temperatures between 40 and 55 ⁰C. Converters from the VLT 6000 series can be mounted adjacent to one another. An internal RFI filter provides protection from electromagnetic interference.
The converter is easy to install and use. A detachable local control panel can be used for intuitive monitoring and control of the unit. A PID regulator can be connected to dual feedback signals. Operators can set two set points. The controller supports sleep mode, which switches off the motor or fan when additional flow or pressure are not required. Tripping during deceleration/acceleration is prevent by the auto ramp up/down feature. An integrated RS-485 interface enables high-speed serial communication with networks units. The 175Z7060 converter uses a three-phase rectifier for AC input rectification. Intermediate circuits are used to reduce variations in the DC output of the rectifier. An inverter converts the DC to variable AC output. The computer that controls the converter is located on the control card. Several analog, digital, relay and pulse inputs and outputs are also available on the control card.
