Product Description:

The 175Z7055 Frequency Converter is suitable for various industrial applications requiring robust performance, consistent torque delivery and reliable input/output handling. The converter is designed to optimize motor function and long term operation.

The 175Z7055 frequency converter from Danfoss features a starting torque of 110 % for 1 minute. For demanding operations, it supports a high break away torque (parameter 110) that delivers a peak torque of 160 % for 0.5 seconds. The acceleration torque is rated at 100 % while the overload torque is also 110 %. The converter offers exceptional analog input flexibility by featuring two programmable input channels that can be configured for either analog voltage or thermistor inputs. These inputs are accessible via terminals 53 and 54 that enables users to select between different types of sensors or signals depending on their application needs. The current input accepts a 4 – 20 mA scalable current with an input resistance of 200 Ω. The scanning time per input is 3 milliseconds that ensures rapid data acquisition and control response. The device also includes a 24 V DC supply on terminals 12 and 13 with a maximum load of 200 mA. The ground terminals for this supply are 20 and 39. This auxiliary power feature supports external sensor or control system operation.

The 175Z7055 frequency converter supports long cable installations that allows motor cable lengths up to 150 meters when using screened cables and up to 300 meters with unscreened cables. This is ideal for large industrial layouts. The frequency control of this model is highly accurate with an output range of 0 to 1000 Hz and resolution of ± 0.003 Hz. This fine resolution supports smooth and responsive motor operation across varying load conditions.
