Product Description:
The 175Z7047 is a frequency converter designed as part of the VLTB 6000 product series from Danfoss Automation. This converter is built for the regulation of the speed and torque of fans and rotary pumps used in industrial systems; it carries out its control operation at an efficiency level as high as 96 per cent and also consumes a very low amount of energy. This converter is also uniquely able to adapt its operation to new flow or pressure requirements it encounters after it has been installed. The mains operation voltage supply required by this product is between 380 to 460 volts, it also operates at a current supply of between 2.8 to 3 amperes and will produce a motor power output of 1.1 kilowatts. This converter unit complies with international interference class A as defined by EN 55011. This is made possible by the Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) filter built into its housing by the operator.
The 175Z7047 frequency converter can be connected to two feedback signals at the same time, this is done through the PID regulator installed into its enclosure. During operation, when this product does not detect a load at the motor for an extended period, it automatically turns off the connected motor to reduce the rate of power consumption in the system. Its converter is also able to catch a rotating fan using its flying start” option.
The 175Z7047 frequency converter features a serial communication interface through which it can be connected to a PC for the monitoring, programming, and control of its operation. Customers are allowed a choice of one of four serial communication protocols, which include the FC protocol, Modbus RTU, Johnson Controls Metasys N2, and the Landis/Staefa Apogee FLN protocol.
