The 175Z7034 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. It converts constant mains power into variable-frequency, variable-voltage output so that induction motors connected to air handlers, chillers, or cooling-tower fans operate at the speed required by the system. By modulating motor speed instead of relying on dampers or valves to restrict flow, the drive can reduce energy consumption and mechanical wear. In HVAC automation, it serves as a local motor controller and can also be integrated into a larger building management architecture through its available control connections.
The drive accepts a supply of 380–460 VAC, which is compatible with common three-phase distribution systems in commercial and industrial facilities. Within this voltage range, the inverter delivers up to 37 kW or 50 HP of continuous mechanical power, making it suitable for medium-sized supply fans, exhaust fans, pumps, and related equipment. The electronics are housed in a compact IP20 enclosure that supports cabinet mounting and protects against accidental contact with live internal parts.
