The 175Z7032 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. It is supplied as a standalone HVAC drive that modulates three-phase induction motors so ventilation and hydronic systems receive only the flow needed to meet current demand. By adjusting motor speed rather than relying on mechanical throttling, the unit supports energy-efficient control of fans and pumps in commercial buildings. It can respond to changing airflow or water-flow requirements while reducing unnecessary motor operation.
This drive accepts a line voltage of 380–460 VAC, allowing direct connection to common 400 V mains in mechanical rooms. Its continuous output capability reaches 22 kW (30 HP), so it can start and regulate medium-sized fan wheels or pump impellers without an external soft starter. The compact IP20 enclosure fits into shallow switchboards while permitting front-access wiring for power and control conductors. Because the IP20 housing is intended for protected installations, the surrounding cabinet should prevent exposure to water, debris, and accidental contact.
