Product Description:
The 175Z7025 is an AC drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. This dedicated HVAC frequency converter regulates fan or pump speed according to building management commands, minimizing energy use in ventilation and chiller circuits. In an automation panel, the drive accepts three-phase mains power, processes control signals from the local control panel or a building management system gateway, and delivers variable-frequency output to an induction motor. This output allows the connected motor to move air or water through climate-control equipment at a speed that matches current demand.
The input section is rated for 380–460 VAC, allowing connection to common industrial low-voltage networks without a transformer. The output can deliver up to 3.0 kW or 4.0 HP, which is suitable for medium-frame motors used with supply fans or booster pumps. The electronics are housed in a compact IP20 enclosure. This open-chassis format is intended for installation inside a switchboard where ambient dust and moisture are controlled. Integrated electromagnetic compatibility mitigation is provided by a Class A1 and Class B filter, helping installations meet applicable residential and commercial emission limits without an additional line filter. Parameter access is available through the detachable LCP local control panel, allowing drive settings to be entered and reviewed without external software.
The drive is configured for HVAC duty, so its default settings support quadratic-torque loads and help maintain constant static pressure as airflow requirements change. The unit has uncoated control boards, which require installation in a clean, dry environment to protect the electronics from moisture and airborne contaminants. Its fieldbus slot is empty, leaving space for a compatible communication module if network control is later required. Power electronics, control terminals, and the cooling path follow the mechanical arrangement of a standard unit. The consistent internal arrangement supports orderly panel wiring and provides access to the power and control connections during installation and routine service.
