The 175Z7022 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss as part of the VLT 6000 HVAC Drives series. Intended for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems, the device converts fixed mains power into a controlled output for centrifugal fans, pumps, and compressors. It adjusts motor speed according to the demand signal received from the building management system. This variable-speed operation can lower energy consumption, reduce mechanical stress, and improve airflow control in packaged equipment and central plants.
The drive has a rated output of 1.1 kW, which corresponds to 1.5 HP of motor power. Its input section accepts three-phase supplies from 380–460 VAC, allowing connection to common industrial power distribution systems without an autotransformer. The housing uses a Compact IP20 enclosure, which protects against accidental finger contact with live components. Because this enclosure does not provide protection against dust or water, the drive requires installation inside a clean control cabinet. An integrated Class A1 and Class B EMC filter limits conducted electrical emissions in industrial and residential applications.
