Product Description:

Engineered by Danfoss, this VLT 5052 frequency converter contains several electrostatic components. The converter’s control panel is located on the front for easy access. This product’s Stop/Reset key must be activated before its parameters are altered. The device doesn’t come equipped to protect the motor against overload. This unit can’t be worked on immediately after the voltage inputs have been disconnected. It has many types of inputs on its control card. The converter comprises two terminals for RS-485 serial communication.

This product’s control frequency ranges from 0 Hz to 1000 Hz. The device’s operation is permitted only with an induction or asynchronous motor. This unit portrays derating when operated at higher than the specified ambient limits. It gets cut off when its intermediate circuit voltage rises too high or falls too low. The controller functions with a 3 x 380 VAC to 500 VAC line supply. This product features fully digitalized protection. The device ensures reliable operation even under unfavorable conditions. This unit’s programming can be done very easily. Its rectification is done by a three-phase rectifier.

The converter also has an inverter to convert a DC voltage to a variable AC voltage with an appropriate variable frequency. This product delivers accurate speed and full torque control. The device delivers good step load compensation. This unit comprises two load-sharing and brake resistor terminals. It does not ensure user safety without a proper earth connection. The frequency converter encompasses red switches that have a default ON factory setting and need a screwdriver for their operation.
