The Danfoss 175Z4318 is a strong and flexible frequency converter from the VLT 5000 Series. It was designed for tough process applications that need accurate and dependable variable speed control. It has a power rating of 15.0 kW, can run on three phases, and has a small enclosure that fulfils the IP20 protection level. This means it may be installed within electrical cabinets or other protected areas. The clever inverter in this drive is what makes it work. It changes DC electricity into AC voltage with a frequency range of 0.5 to 132 Hz (and up to 1000 Hz in extended applications). The output voltage may be changed from 0% to 100% of the mains supply.
