The 175Z0813 by Danfoss belongs to the VLT 5000 Frequency Converters series. It is designed for reliable motor control applications. The converter offers high torque performance and stable output accuracy.
The Danfoss 175Z0813 requires a supply voltage of 3 × 380-500 V AC and supports frequencies ranging from 48 to 62 Hz. The output voltage ranges from 0 to 100 percent of the supply. The frequency range can be adjusted from 0 to 132 Hz or increased to 1000 Hz. Overload handling allows for a maximum of 160 percent for one minute and 180 percent for one-half second. With infinite output switching, the drive efficiency approaches 96 percent. The rated power is 5.5 kW for severe overload torque and 7.5 kW for regular overload torque. The output current at 380-440 V is 13 A for normal overload and 10-11 A for extreme overload. The control is based on VVCplus sensorless vector control. The open loop ranges from 1 to 100 synchronous speed, whereas the closed loop ranges from 1 to 1000. The speed accuracy is ±7.5 rpm below 1500 rpm in open loop and ±0.5 percent above 1500 rpm. The closed loop mode accuracy is ±1.5 rpm below 1500 rpm and ±0.1% above 1500 rpm. Torque handling is tuned for maximum torque at standstill and quick reaction to load changes. The converter allows for flexible installation in bookstyle IP20, compact IP20 and compact IP54 enclosures. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 45°C for high overload and up to 40°C for IP54 regular load.
The 175Z0813 guarantees safe, efficient and dependable industrial performance. The altitude rating is up to 1000 meters without derating. Protection features include electronic motor heat protection, short-circuit protection at motor outputs, earth fault prevention and phase failure monitoring.
