Danfoss manufactures the 175Z0743, an AC drive in the VLT 5000 Frequency Converters series. The drive accepts a three-phase input of 380–500 V, allowing direct connection to common industrial power networks without step-down transformers. A compact housing with an IP54 rating protects the internal electronics from dust and water spray, enabling cabinet or wall mounting in production areas. System integration is supported by Profibus DP V0/V1 at 12 Mbaud, allowing controllers to exchange setpoints, operating commands, and status data over a standardized fieldbus. An integrated front-mounted display provides access to parameter settings, operating values, and local diagnostic information.
