The 175Z0533 frequency converter is Danfoss Automation's answer to customers' demand for a single unit that can be used for the accurate control, monitoring, and protection of a broad range of motor designs. This converter is delivered with factory-set configuration instructions; however, it allows customers to determine their own parameters and modify its operation to meet specific industrial requirements. This converter features a strong metallic enclosure that belongs to the IP20 protection category and allows for the direct vertical integration of the product into the servo system. The handling of this converter can also be easily carried out by certified personnel familiar with Danfoss Automation products. The frequency converter requires relatively little maintenance throughout its service life; however, it should always be used in recommended conditions as stated in its documentation.
During the operation of the 175Z0533 frequency converter, the leakage current produced in this unit is often higher than 3.5 milliamperes. Connected motors can be protected against overload damage by this converter; however, this feature is not factory set.
