The 175Z0532 is a frequency converter manufactured by Danfoss. Part of the VLT 5000 Frequency Converters series, it is designed for process applications and supports three-phase operation. The converter features a book style enclosure with an enclosure class of IP20. It supports Profibus DP fieldbus communication.

Product Description:
The 175Z0532 air cooled frequency converter designed by Danfoss Automation to improve automation systems by providing accurate control of the speed, torque, and position of 3-phase asynchronous motor designs. This converter is built to last. Although its housing only provides protection against large foreign solids according to IP20 standards, it is possible to directly integrate the unit into an additional protective control cabinet. When the operation of multiple units is necessary, operators can install all the various units side-by-side to save space and installation costs. The motor and control cables used with this product should be screened with metallic material to reduce electromagnetic interference; however, when the installation is done with rigid metal conduits, the use of screened cables is not required. As a configurable product, operators are allowed to adapt this product to their specific application requirements through a PC unit connected to it.
The output current supplied to a connected motor is 2.2 amps. This current can reach a maximum value of 3.5 amps. The typical shaft output of this product is also estimated to be 0.75 watts. Under standard conditions, this unit maintains an efficiency level of 96 percent, at maximum load, it losses a power output of about 55 watts. The installation orientation of this product must always be vertical; its mounting position should also have enough space for the easy movement of cool air around the product during its operation.
All the connection terminals and interfaces used by the control cables 175Z0532 frequency converter are located under the protective cover; these terminals can be exposed by using a screwdriver to expose the protective cover.
