175Z0372 is a Danfoss VLT 5000 series frequency converter. This compact converter is available in an IP20 housing that mounts vertically. A control panel at the front – with display and keypad – allows easy and intuitive monitoring and configuration. An ID sticker is attached to the unit and lists information needed for identification, including type code, serial number, and input and output specifications. Danfoss recommends waiting for 15 minutes after AC power disconnection before performing any repair activity. ESD precautions are also recommended for preventing component damage. Input voltage for the 175Z0372 converter is 380 to 500 Volts. The input current is 3.8 Amps at 380 Volts and 3.4 Amps at 500 Volts. The converter rectifies AC input, and then inverts the resulting DC to obtain controlled AC output for motor speed control.
