Product Description:

Danfoss designs the VLT drive 175Z0270 with the product code VLT5004PT5C54SBR3DLF00A00C0 as an adjustable frequency unit. It is capable of delivering 160% starting torque for up to 60 sec and provides 160% overload torque for the same duration. In high-overload conditions, it can support a duty cycle at 100% torque for up to 120 seconds.

The 175Z0270 drive is designed to operates from an AC supply source of voltage 380 to 500 V, with a supply frequency range of 48 to 62 Hz ±1%. It supports output frequencies up to 1 kHz and it has a configurable output voltage range of 0 to 100% of the supply voltage to offer flexible power delivery. This drive features a total of eight programmable digital inputs with voltage levels of 0 to 24 V DC (PNP positive logic) and two analog voltage inputs with a range of ±10 V DC for scalability. It includes four pulse or encoder inputs with a maximum frequency of 5 kHz on terminal 17 and 20 kHz on terminals 29, 32 and 33 that is a PNP open collector to ensure precise feedback and control. Additionally, two digital and analog outputs are available for connecting external devices, with a maximum frequency of 32 kHz for pulse output. The 175Z0270 drive offers 9 A of peak output current and its shaft output capability is 3 HP.

The 175Z0270 drive is available in IP-20 and IP-54 enclosures for different environmental requirements. It can handle motor cable lengths up to 150 meters for screened cables and 300 meters for unscreened cables, while the maximum cable cross-section for motor, brake and load-sharing cables is 16 mm². This unit is equipped with thermal protection that automatically disconnects the drive if the heat sink temperature crosses the 90°C mark in IP-20 models or 80°C for NEMA 12 models.
