Danfoss Automation is one of the mass producers of drive controllers used in the control of automation systems. The 175Z0209 frequency converter is part of the VLT 5000 series from this reputable company. It is a state-of-the-art device that combines decades of experience with new-generation technology. The converter is a three-phase device that operates with a mains connection voltage that falls between 380 to 500 volts, and can produce a power output of 2.2 kilowatts from motors connected to it. The housing of this product is designed to meet IP54 product standard, which is significantly higher than conventional controller products and allows the converter to easily withstand dust, water splashes, and most other foreign interference.

An internal air blower is installed inside this product. This blower is removable and designed to operate together with an integrated heatsink for the easy elimination of excess heat from the housing of this product. The unit has a three-phase connection interface; the mains voltage supplied through this interface is between 200 to about 240 volts, and its current requirement is also about 10.6 amperes. Customers who expect a rated power output of 2.2 kilowatts from motor units directly controlled by this product.

Upon delivery, the 175Z0209 comes with some factory-determined configuration parameters; however, operators still have a great deal of freedom in determining the operation of this product. Operator parameters can be sent into this product remotely or locally; they can also be uploaded into the connected control panel and transferred to another converter through the physical removal and installation of the control panel into the new product.
