The Danfoss 175Z0132 device can work at temperatures from -10°C to +45°C, therefore it may be used in a wide range of environments.

The enclosure protection is certified at IP20/IP00, which means it may be used in control cabinets where minimal protection from touch and entry is all that's needed. One of the best things about the 175Z0132 is that it focusses on being easy to use and programming quickly. Danfoss has put the parameter settings into logical groupings, which makes it easy to find oner way around and set things up. The Quick menu lets users quickly set up the basic settings required to get the drive working. More sophisticated options are also easy to find for more extensive customization. The control panel may be removed and has a four-line alphanumeric display that can show four separate measured values at the same time.

This removable panel also makes it easy to replicate programmed settings across drives, which cuts down on downtime and makes it easier to replace drives or add more to the system. The VLT 5000 series comes with built-in parts that one would normally have to buy and install separately, such an RFI filter, DC coils, screen clamps, and a serial connection connector. One may configure and operate these installations from either the control panel or the RS 485 communication connection. This makes it easy to add them to bigger automation systems.
