Product Description:
The Danfoss 175Z0032 is a three-phase frequency converter from the VLT 5000 Frequency Converters family. It features a small book-style case. This drive is designed for strong industrial motor control and works with mains voltages of 380–500V AC (and 460–500V AC). It comes with a built-in brake and weighs 6.8 kilograms, which makes it strong and simple to install in control panels where space is limited. Danfoss has a long history of coming up with new ideas in drive technology. In 1968, they developed the first mass-produced frequency converter.
The VLT 5000 Series keeps this history going by using the modern VVCplus sensorless vector drive technology, which makes it more easier to manage the speed and torque of induction motors than the old voltage/frequency (V/f) ratio control method. VVCplus improves dynamics and stability, which lets the drive manage speed accurately, even at low speeds, and respond quickly to changes in speed reference or load torque. The technology makes it easy to switch between current limit operation and other modes, and it has strong pull-out torque prevention, even when the field is weak.
The drive can also handle a wide range of motor data and can retain full torque while in closed-loop mode. One of the best things about the VLT 5000 is its completely digitalized protection system. This makes sure that the drive stays trustworthy even when it is being used in the worst circumstances. The drive protects against short circuits, grounding problems, and overloads in a complete way. The drive has a "special motor mode" for certain uses that works with permanent magnet synchronous motors and parallel motor configurations. This maintains strong torque control and makes sure everything runs smoothly.
