The Danfoss 175Z0031 is a frequency converter from the VLT 5000 series that is meant to accurately run a motor in small applications that require minimal power.

Designed to a protection level of IP20, the 175Z0031 is designed to be installed in controlled conditions like electrical cabinets, where it is guarded against accidental contact and solid objects. It is lightweight (only 1 kg) and simple to integrate, and its small size allows it to fit in the limited space of installations. The braking unit is also provided, giving it better control on the deceleration side and stops more safely and reliably. The drive is air-cooled and rated to run continuously with an ambient temperature of between 0 °C and 45 °C. It can support a maximum output frequency up to 1000 Hz, which is programmable above the default value, giving flexibility in custom applications.
