Product Description:
The 195N2191 AC variable-frequency drive is produced by Danfoss for the VLT 2900 Industrial Drives series. It converts fixed three-phase supply power into a controllable output that allows automation controllers to regulate induction motor speed on conveyors, pumps, and general process machinery. This variable output lets the connected motor follow changing process demands instead of operating continuously at full speed. Integrated current, voltage, and temperature monitoring helps the drive maintain regulated torque while protecting its power electronics and fitting inside a standard control cabinet.
The drive supplies a continuous motor phase current of 24.0 A and can tolerate a 60-second overload current of 38.4 A during acceleration. This temporary current capacity supports motor starting and short load increases without requiring continuous operation at the overload level. The inverter section has an apparent output rating of 16.6 kVA, which corresponds to a shaft power capability of 11.0 kW when used with a typical three-phase motor. Conversion efficiency reaches 97%, limiting nominal heat dissipation to 412 W and reducing the thermal load inside the cabinet. An IP20 / NEMA 1 enclosure restricts access to live parts while permitting panel airflow, and internal fans exhaust heat from the power section.
A factory-installed control board provides five digital inputs, one analog output with a 500 Ω load rating, and a form-C relay output for status signaling. Upstream circuit protection requires a 50 A supply fuse to interrupt excessive current before it damages the drive or connected wiring. The supply and motor terminals accept copper conductors up to 16 mm² / 6 AWG, helping limit voltage drop between the electrical source, drive, and motor. A 24 VDC control supply can provide 130 mA to compatible external sensors and transducers, reducing the need for a separate low-power source. The unit weighs 18.5 kg, which limits the mechanical load placed on cabinet mounting surfaces and support hardware.
