The Danfoss 195N2188 is a small and powerful industrial drive that belongs to the VLT 2900 series of products and is designed to deliver accurate and reliable motor control.

This model is designed to operate in three-phase (380–480 V) with stable operation guaranteed irrespective of efficiency or performance. The drive provides 2.1 A of current output and 1.7 kVA of power output with 400 V, and offers and dependable operation. It drives a nominal motor shaft output of 0.75 kW, and it delivers efficient performance in diverse motor control applications. It can handle an excess current of 3.3 A for 60 seconds at brief peak loads, and under the same circumstances, the maximum input current is rated at 3.0 A. With a rated load efficiency of 96%, it has an extremely efficient drive that minimizes energy waste and lowers overall operating expenses. Power loss is minimized at full capacity to only 38 W, generating less heat and minimizing energy waste.

With a peak output frequency of 1000 Hz, the component also has an expanded control range, making it a helpful tool for applications requiring specialized process controllers or high motor speeds. The 195N2188 is packaged in an IP20-rated casing, which can be attached to the inside of control panels or cabinets to provide additional environmental protection. It can be kept at temperatures between –25 °C to +70 °C and is able to perform well at ambient temperatures as high as 45 °C. The drive can be set at an altitude of up to 1000 m, without derating. It is also highly robust in terms of safety and fault-tolerance, with a maximum short-circuit withstanding of 100,000 A.
