The 195N2188 is a compact AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT 2900 Industrial Drives series. Intended for cabinet mounting in small-horsepower installations, the module modulates voltage and frequency so a three-phase induction motor can match process demand instead of running at a fixed synchronous speed. By converting incoming power into a variable output waveform, the device supports precise speed regulation and reduced energy consumption in automated material-handling and HVAC systems.
At the input terminals, the drive draws a nominal 1.9 A while delivering up to 1.7 kVA of apparent power to the motor, with a steady-state efficiency of 96%. During a short acceleration demand, the supply current can reach 3.0 A without tripping the drive. The inverter section supplies 2.1 A of continuous phase current through switching vectors calculated by its internal control system. A separate 10-bit analog output can transmit process values to external indicators. Five digital inputs accept start, stop, and preset-speed commands, while a single relay output sends drive status to external control circuits.
