Product Description:
The 195N1097 is an easily configured controller from Danfoss Automation. The product is a compact IP20 device that can be adopted for the control, monitoring, and protection of motors used across various industries. As a frequency converter, the unit typically operates with a high voltage and generally requires careful handling by highly trained personnel. To make installation and control operations easier, a documentation of instructions is typically delivered with the product. This converter is supplied with an integral control unit, which is crucial to the proper handling of the product. The control unit features a display unit that allows customers to monitor its operation in real-time, as well as a keyboard for general control operations. The display present on this product is a six-digit LED display, it is capable of showing a single item of operating data continuously during the operation of the product. Three indicator lamps are present around the display to communicate the voltage status, warnings, and any necessary alarms.
The 195N1097 is connected to motors through the use of quality connection cables. For greater flexibility in terms of the installation position of the motor relative to the converter, operators can fit motor coils between the converter and the motor to increase the permissible length of connection cables. The motor coils allow for the use of up to 200 meters of unscreened motor cables and 100 meters of screen cables.
The production of electromagnetic noise is unavoidable for this converter; however, this product does not have a Radio Frequency Interface (RFI) filter integrated into it to reduce the electromagnetic noise in the mains supply. This filter can be externally provided to ensure that the disruption of other electrical components connected to the mains is at the barest minimum.
