Product Description:
The 195N1061 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. As a compact controller for induction motors, it converts fixed mains power into a modulated output that allows an automation system to regulate shaft speed, torque, and process throughput. Precise speed adjustment can reduce unnecessary energy consumption and mechanical stress in conveyors, mixers, pumps, and other industrial equipment. The drive’s compact format also makes it suitable for control cabinets where available mounting space is limited.
This model delivers a continuous output of 3.0 kW, which corresponds to a mechanical shaft output of 4.0 HP. It accepts an incoming line supply of 380–480 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz, allowing connection to common industrial power networks within that voltage range. The converter supplies a three-phase output to the connected induction motor and electronically adjusts the output frequency and voltage in response to control commands. Its IP20 protection rating helps prevent accidental contact with live terminals while allowing ventilation through the housing. The unit is intended for installation in a suitable control cabinet that provides the required airflow and protection from moisture, dust, and other contaminants.
The drive uses a book-style enclosure, allowing multiple units to be mounted side by side while conserving cabinet space. A front-mounted built-in display (SLCP) provides local access to operating frequency, current values, parameter settings, and alarm codes. The unit has no integrated EMC filter, so an external filter may be required when the installation must limit conducted electromagnetic emissions. Its standard hardware configuration includes the baseline control board and IGBT power stage used for general process control. The process-oriented parameter arrangement supports constant-torque applications such as mixers, blowers, conveyors, and positive-displacement pumps. Local display access allows operating values and faults to be reviewed directly at the drive without requiring a separate keypad.
