Product Description:

The 2800 series low voltage drive 195N1050 with the product specification code VLT2822PT4B20SBR0DBF00A00C0 is developed by Danfoss for efficient motor control in industrial systems. It operates with a 3-phase input voltage range of 380 – 480 V and supports 50/60 Hz frequency. The drive delivers a maximum output load power of 3.6 kVA and it possess an output frequency range from 0.2 to 132 Hz, as well as 1 to 1000 Hz.

The 195N1050 drive features both constant and variable torque operation modes, in both modes it ensures stable operation with a starting torque of 160% for 1 minute. It adjusts voltage and frequency to maintain optimal motor performance in variable torque applications, such as pumps and fans. The unit provides overload protection via built-in electronic thermal relay (ETR) that ensures motor safety by trip protection in case of overheating and it also offers motor thermal protection along with parameter adjustment. It is capable of providing 5.2 A of normal output current and 8.3 A of maximum current for 60 sec. This 195N1 drive supports both open-loop and closed-loop control, its closed-loop operation requires a feedback signal for accurate speed control and compensation for load variations, while its open-loop system includes automatic load and slip compensation to ensure consistent motor performance without external feedback. It is equipped with multiple I/O options that includes five programmable digital inputs, one analog voltage input (0 - 10V) and one analog current input (0/4 - 20mA).

The 195N1050 drive is presented with relay outputs that enables fault reporting and status monitoring. It features RS-485 serial port for communication and integration with external control systems to allow remote monitoring and configuration as well. This 195N1 drive is housed in an IP20-rated enclosure and it supports installation in environments with limited dust or moisture exposure.

Frequently Asked Questions about 195N1050:

Q: How does the RS485 communication in the 195N1050 help in industrial applications?

A: The RS485 allows seamless integration with PLCs and remote monitoring systems. It ensures stable data transmission over long distances in noisy industrial environments.

Q: What benefit does the automatic slip compensation provide in the 195N1050?

A: It helps maintain motor speed under fluctuating load conditions. This ensures precise performance without requiring additional external sensors.

Q: How does the electronic thermal relay (ETR) improve motor safety in this drive?

A: The ETR continuously monitors thermal conditions of the motor. If overheating occurs, it activates trip protection to prevent damage.

Q: What role does the analog current input (0/4–20mA) play in the 195N1050?

A: This input allows proportional control signals from external controllers. It enables precise adjustment of motor speed based on process requirements.

Q: How does adjustable frequency range (0.2–132 Hz, 1–1000 Hz) benefit industrial users?

A: This broad range supports both standard motor speeds and high-frequency specialized applications. It makes the drive versatile for different industries.
