Product Description:
The 195N1041 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It converts fixed mains power into a regulated output, allowing induction motors to match the changing load requirements of automated conveyors, pumps, mixers, and other industrial equipment. Adjustable motor speed can improve energy efficiency while reducing mechanical stress caused by abrupt starts and operation at unnecessarily high speeds. The compact unit is intended for installation inside a control cabinet, where it can support new machinery or upgrades to existing equipment without occupying excessive panel space.
The drive accepts a supply of 380–480 V AC ±10% at 50/60 Hz from common industrial distribution networks. It uses a three-phase input to maintain balanced loading across the incoming power lines. At the motor terminals, the unit supports a continuous output of 1.5 kW, which corresponds to 2.0 HP. The standard configuration includes the control terminals and logic functions provided for this drive series without requiring expansion cards. Its IP20 ingress protection prevents accidental contact with internal components but requires the drive to be mounted in an enclosure that provides suitable protection from moisture, dust, and unauthorized access. Proper cabinet ventilation should also be maintained so heat can escape during continuous operation.
The housing has a compact book-style design that reduces panel width and permits side-by-side mounting without derating. A built-in SLCP display presents operating information such as motor speed, current, and active alarms, allowing settings and operating conditions to be reviewed directly at the drive. The power section is supplied without an RFI filter, so external electromagnetic compatibility components may be necessary when an installation must limit conducted or radiated interference. The circuit boards do not have a protective coating and should therefore be used in clean, dry control cabinets that are free from condensation and corrosive airborne contaminants. The drive is configured for process applications, making its available parameter set suitable for continuous-duty equipment used in production and material-handling systems.
