The 195N1027 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. Within an automation cabinet, it converts fixed-frequency mains power into a modulated output that controls an induction motor’s speed, torque, and energy use. This closed-loop control supports conveyors, fans, and pumps that require consistent adjustment rather than simple on-and-off operation from a line starter.
The drive is rated for 1.1 kW of continuous output power and accepts a supply range of 380–480 V ±10% at 50/60 Hz. It connects to a three-phase network, making it suitable for standard industrial power distribution systems. An integrated RFI filter complies with EN 55011 Class A1, limiting conducted emissions that could interfere with nearby equipment. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, which provides protection against accidental finger contact but does not protect the unit from liquids. It must therefore be installed inside a clean cabinet that provides the necessary protection from moisture and contaminants.
