The 195N1015 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. Designed for panel mounting in compact machine cabinets, the unit controls the speed of induction motors by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to them. This capability supports controlled acceleration, deceleration, and continuous speed adjustment in automated process lines. Common applications include small pumps, fans, and conveyors that benefit from adjustable motor operation.
The drive accepts a supply of 380–480 V ±10% at 50/60 Hz from a three-phase mains network and converts it into a regulated output suitable for standard IEC motors. It provides a continuous mechanical output of 0.75 kW, which corresponds to 1.0 HP. This power range is suitable for equipment that requires moderate speed control without a large drive enclosure. The IP20 protection rating helps prevent accidental contact with internal electrical components while allowing ventilation through the housing. Because the enclosure is not sealed against water or fine contaminants, the drive should be installed inside an appropriate control cabinet. Its power electronics regulate motor operation in response to configured speed and process commands.
The enclosure uses the Bookstyle format, allowing multiple drives to be mounted side by side while conserving cabinet rail space.
