The 195N1014 is a low-voltage AC drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It functions as a compact motor controller that converts fixed-frequency mains power into variable frequency and voltage, allowing process plants to adjust induction motor speed rather than throttle mechanical components. By connecting the drive between the supply network and the motor, machine builders gain precise torque regulation and can reduce energy consumption during conveyor, pump, or fan duty cycles.
This model delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.75 kW, which corresponds to a motor rating of 1.0 HP. The power section is designed for three-phase operation and accepts 380–480 V with a tolerance of ±10% at 50/60 Hz, so it connects directly to common industrial feeders without transformers. An internal thermal algorithm keeps semiconductor junctions within operating limits. The housing has an IP20 protection rating, providing protection against finger contact while requiring installation inside a suitable control cabinet. No application option modules are installed, so the base control software manages speed references, ramp profiles, and basic fault handling through terminal inputs and analog commands.
The drive is supplied in a book-style enclosure, allowing identical units to be mounted edge to edge to conserve panel width. For installations that do not require integrated conducted-emission suppression, it is supplied with no integrated EMC filter. External radio-frequency interference components can be installed when the application requires additional emission control.
