The 195N1007 is a low-voltage variable frequency drive built by Danfoss within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. Designed for integration into machine panels, the drive modulates the power supplied to standard induction motors so that speed and torque follow process demands. Its book-style form factor conserves cabinet width, while the built-in SLCP display provides local access to parameters, operating data, and status information in automated production cells.
The inverter delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.55 kW, which is equivalent to 0.75 HP and is suitable for small pumps, blowers, and conveyors. It accepts mains voltages from 380–480 V with a tolerance of ±10% and operates at a grid frequency of 50/60 Hz, allowing use with common three-phase utility networks without transformers. Under rated operating conditions, the output current reaches 1.7 A, which must be considered when selecting motor cables and protective devices. The standard configuration does not include a dedicated application option card, while integrated PID channels support basic process regulation. Its book-style construction also simplifies side-by-side mounting because cooling air moves from the front to the back of the enclosure. This airflow arrangement helps installers organize multiple drives within a panel while maintaining the clearances needed for heat removal.
Apparent input power is limited to 1.1 kVA, allowing the drive to connect to lightly rated upstream feeders when the associated circuit protection is selected correctly. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so the unit must be installed inside a protective cabinet while providing protection against accidental finger contact with internal components. An internal radio-frequency interference filter meets EN 55011 Class A1, reducing conducted emissions to levels appropriate for industrial installations on a three-phase supply. The unit is supplied without a protective coating and is therefore intended for clean, dry electrical rooms where moisture, conductive dust, and chemical vapors are controlled.
