The 195N1002 is a low-voltage variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss in the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. It is intended for process-oriented automation where speed adjustment of three-phase induction motors improves efficiency and protects mechanical equipment. By converting fixed mains power into a variable output, the unit gives machine builders and plant operators flexible control of pumps, fans, and conveyors without requiring external throttling devices.
This model delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.55 kW, equivalent to 0.75 HP, allowing it to run small industrial motors with stable torque. The input section accepts a supply of 380–480 V ±10% at 50/60 Hz from a three-phase network, so it can be wired directly to compatible plant power systems. An IP20 protection rating permits installation inside ventilated electrical panels where protection from accidental contact is required but full dust sealing is unnecessary. There is no built-in RFI filter or fieldbus option, so electromagnetic compliance and network connectivity must be addressed with external accessories when necessary. The drive has no application option and uses the standard parameter set for motor control.
The slim book-style housing allows multiple drives to be mounted side by side while using minimal cabinet width. A built-in display (SLCP) provides parameter access and local status information without requiring a remote keypad. The chassis can withstand vibration levels of 0.7 g, making it suitable for machinery exposed to moderate dynamic loads. The drive is configured as standard with a brake, enabling connection to a braking resistor for quicker motor deceleration. Its power section does not have a conformal coating, so the unit is intended for controlled indoor environments. The model is dedicated to process applications within the VLT product group, including systems that regulate the speed of pumps, fans, and conveyors. Local controls provide direct access to operating values and adjustments from the front of the enclosure. Panel installation also provides the surrounding protection needed for the open chassis while allowing ventilation around the drive.
