Product Description:

The motor coil module for the VLT 2800 series of low-voltage drives is the Danfoss 195N0070.

It mainly serves to increase the allowed length of motor cables and remain within the requirements of EMC and operational stability. When installed, it gives unscreened cable length of up to 200 m and screened length of 100 m, thus giving flexibility when drives are distant to the motor are concerned. The 195N0070 has been designed to be used at a necessary switching frequency of 4.5 kHz (parameter 411) and ensures optimal operation and low interference. Featuring a maximum allowed current of 16 A, this unit can operate securely under any load. In a variety of industrial applications, it provides versatility by operating with motor systems up to 480 V AC. The module is VDE and UL/cUL approved (UL file E134261), and is internationally safety and performance certified. The module is physically housed in an IP20 enclosure to enable it to be integrated into a cabinet.

Because of its compact size (200 x 90 x 152 mm), the device may be installed in an automation system. It weighs around 3.8 kg and features a sturdy yet lightweight construction that makes it appropriate for use in manufacturing. Placement should be vertical, and spacing should not be needed between unit mounting side-by-side, although a 100-mm clearance must be provided above and below the unit to allow the device to get ventilated. The operating ambient temperature range of the device is 0 to 45 °C. The thermal performance is maximized in this range with derating enforced at temperatures beyond 40 °C. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
