Product Description:
The 195N0002 low-voltage AC drive is produced by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. Designed for variable-speed control of induction motors in process-oriented machinery, it allows motor torque and speed to be adjusted without mechanical throttling. This capability supports controlled flow in pumps, fans, agitators, and similar equipment while reducing unnecessary mechanical losses. Its compact form factor and power class make it suitable for control panels where component density is important in industrial automation. An integrated brake output supports rapid motor deceleration when an application requires shorter stopping times.
The input section accepts a three-phase supply ranging from 200 to 240 V AC, covering common 208 V and 230 V distribution networks in light industrial facilities. The drive uses a narrow book-style format, allowing multiple units to be installed in a row without consuming excessive cabinet width. Its IP20 enclosure protects internal circuits against accidental finger contact and is intended for installation inside clean electrical cabinets. Parameter information is available through the front-mounted built-in display (SLCP), eliminating the need for a separate keypad during local adjustment. Dynamic stopping energy is handled by the integrated brake chopper in the standard configuration with a brake, allowing shorter deceleration times for motors connected to high-inertia loads.
The drive uses a general software profile that leaves its available parameters open for user-selected settings. Its dedicated application type is process control, so the control functions support stable operation under the varying loads commonly associated with pumps and agitators. The power section is supplied without an EMC filter, which means external radio-frequency interference suppression may be required near sensitive instrumentation or where applicable electromagnetic compatibility limits must be met. The circuit boards are delivered without a protective coating, restricting installation to dry, noncorrosive locations where moisture and chemical vapors are controlled. The unit is also supplied without a fieldbus option, so control and parameter adjustments are performed through the local interface or hardwired input and output connections.
