Product Description:

The Danfoss 178B8577 represents a flexible Alternate Current inverter. It comes from the VLT 2800 Low Voltage series. It can also work with both single-phase and three-phase systems. The Danfoss drive can output frequencies from 0 to 400 Hz (hertz), which allows for accurate speed control for many kinds of motors and uses. It has a built-in braking system that makes it better at handling quick stops or emergency stops without needing extra hardware.

The 178B8577 has an IP20 protection level, which means it may be installed within electrical panels or other safe places. The VLT 2800 series comes with or without a built-in 1A RFI filter for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The filter makes the drive meet EMC standard EN 55011-1A and EN 55011-1B if a motor wire that is at least 15 meters long and has a screen or armor is used. The EN 50011-1B standard is met by higher-powered versions with built-in 1B filters (VLT 2880-82). This means that there is less electromagnetic interference in sensitive installations.

The Danfoss 178B8577 drive come with intermediate circuit coils as standard to deal with harmonics, which may cause transformers and cables to lose heat and perhaps overload. These coils may cut the input RMS current by roughly 40%, which makes the system work better and lowers the chance of the transformer or cable being too hot. Keep in mind that these coils are not included with single-phase systems that are up to 1.5 kW (kilo watts. The RS-485 bus system is used for communication, and the fastest speed is 9600 baud.
