Product Description:

This Danfoss 178B1466 drive is designed to keep its maximum output power at temperatures up to 45°C, which makes it perfect for tough applications where cooling may not be possible. The system is much safer and more reliable since it has built-in short-circuit protection.

This gives users piece of mind during both installation and use. The Danfoss 178B1466 is all about safety. If users don't follow the right steps, the drive may work at voltages that can cause damage. To keep users safe and avoid electrical risks, proper protective earthing must be set up. When installing, users need to keep in mind that the earth leakage current is more than 3.5 mA. By default, there is no protection against motor overload.

To turn on electronic thermal relay protection, parameter 128 (Motor thermal protection) should be set to either ETR Trip or ETR Warning. Before disconnecting the motor or the mains connections, be sure that the mains supply is always turned off. The drive also gives a strong warning against starting the engine by accident.

Digital or bus instructions, references, or local stop commands may halt the motor, but they don't cut off power to the drive. adjustments to settings may make the motor start up without warning, therefore it is usually best to use the STOP/RESET key before making any adjustments. This drive can operate small to medium-sized motors with an output power of 2.2 kW (3.0 HP). It makes sure that the speed is always right and the performance is always at its best. The built-in EMC filter is one of its most important characteristics. It fulfils the strict specifications of EN 55011 1A, which helps to reduce electromagnetic interference and make sure that the product meets industrial standards.
