After more than 20 years of production, the 134U2983 has cemented its place as one of the most reliable frequency converters built for industrial operation. This converter has been discontinued by its producer Danfoss Automation, however, it is still perfectly capable of meeting the highest industrial standards in terms of accuracy and operation efficiency. The converter is able to meet an operation efficiency level above 90 per cent during its operation, and it also requires a relatively low amount of electrical energy for optimum operation. Upon delivery, the 134U2983 can be operated remotely or locally, depending on the preferences of the operator. It is also possible for operators to easily determine its configuration instructions through a control panel or a PC unit connected to it. Apart from the factory programming setup, it is possible for customers to determine five more programming setups for this product. The programming setup contains independent configuration instructions that can be chosen and used for the control of this product.
The control parameters used in the 134U2983 frequency converter can be transferred from one unit to another. This is done by uploading the control data into the local control panel and transferring that panel into a new converter for the redownloading of the configuration instructions. There are three configuration modules to which this converter can be converted, these include the SPEED OPEN LOOP, SPEED CLOSED LOOP and the PROCESS CLOSED loop.
The 134U2983 frequency converter comes with an internal air blower that plays a major role in its cooling by dissipating excess heat from the housing of the product. The installation position and orientation of this product should also allow for the movement of cool ambient air around the product.
