The 132L4039 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT 2800 Low Voltage Drives series. This compact unit mounts inside a control cabinet and regulates motor speed by adjusting output frequency and voltage. It can control centrifugal pumps, blowers, material-handling conveyors, and other industrial machinery that must respond to changing process requirements. Variable-speed operation can reduce unnecessary energy consumption while limiting the mechanical stress associated with abrupt starts and stops. Its narrow housing also conserves panel space in installations that use several motor drives.

The drive provides a mechanical output of 1.1 kW (1.5 HP), making it suitable for relatively small industrial motors. It accepts an input supply of 380–480 V ±10% at 50/60 Hz, allowing connection to common 400 V and 460 V plant power systems. The unit uses a three-phase input, which supports balanced current draw and smooth motor operation when connected correctly. Its inverter regulates the electrical output delivered to the motor according to the selected speed and torque requirements. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, providing protection against accidental finger contact with hazardous internal components. The slim book-style format allows multiple drives to be installed side by side while using limited cabinet space. Local parameter access is available through the built-in display (SLCP), which presents operating values and permits setpoint adjustments without separate programming equipment. The standard power stage with a brake chopper manages regenerated energy during rapid motor deceleration when connected to the appropriate braking components. Conducted electromagnetic emissions are reduced by the factory-installed EN 55011 Class A1 RFI filter, supporting operation in industrial areas that require basic electromagnetic compatibility. No application option or fieldbus card is installed, so external control relies on the interfaces included with the base drive. A conformal coating protects the internal electronics from moisture and airborne contaminants in humid process areas. Adequate cabinet airflow remains necessary to remove heat generated by the power electronics during continuous operation.
