The Danfoss 195H3205 is a small, powerful frequency converter. This device can produce up to 2 HP (1.5 kW) and works with three-phase AC input in the range of 3 x 208–240 V. The 195H3205 has a high efficiency of 94% at maximum speed, which makes it a good option for continuous use at a low cost. The 195H3205 permits the use of error voltage relays or neutral grounding, which is needed by local health and safety requirements.
This makes it safer and more reliable to operate. An earth fault may cause direct current to flow into the discharge current. Because of this, any Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) used must be able to tolerate brief discharge currents on power-up and be compatible with three-phase equipment with bridge rectifier setups. To keep the system safe, all protective relays should follow local rules.
The frequency converter has a variety of digital inputs and outputs that give it more control and flexibility. Terminal 19 is the reversing input. When 24 V DC is provided, the motor will either instantly or after a stop instruction, depending on how it is set up. If users choose "pulse start" in parameter 402, this function will work with parameter 403 and may be customized to work with pulses. Terminal 20 serves as the digital common or reference for all digital and bus signals. This makes sure that the control logic is properly grounded. Terminal 46 is an open collector output that may be set up by parameter 408 to send different status or alarm signals. A pull-up resistor with a value of at least 600 ohms must be connected to terminal 12 (+24 V) when this output is used.
