Product Description:

The Danfoss 195H3107 is a Variable Speed Drive (VSD). This device can work with a variety of supply voltages. It can work with either a three-phase 208–240 V AC input or a single-phase 220–240 V input. The drive is within an IP20-rated case, which protects it from solid objects. It may be installed in electrical cabinets or other protected areas. For installations with an RFI and motor filter module, it's best to use unscreened motor connections to reduce electromagnetic noise. On the other hand, the control wires need to be screened to make sure they block noise properly. The screen should be tightly attached to the termination clamp on the screen termination bracket.

Users should also avoid using 'pigtails', which are twisted screen ends, since they may make high-frequency shielding less effective. Following the instructions, the screen should also be linked to the base of the controlling device in most circumstances. To minimize any electrical interference, the placement of the cables should be given extra care. To prevent noise from getting into the signal wires, they should not be run with the engine and brake cables. A screened cable is needed for the braking resistor, and the screen should be placed beneath the cable clamp on the cable relief fitting. To keep performance up, brake wire lengths should be no more than 5 meters.

Users may sometimes see 50 Hz ripple loops when they utilize extremely lengthy control connections, particularly for analogue signals. This is because the mains supply cables get in the way. This may occasionally be fixed by disconnecting the connection between the screen and the base or putting a 100 nF capacitor between them. Another key thing to think about is equalizing currents, which may happen when both ends of a control cable's screen are earthed since the voltage between the VLT frequency converter and the controlling appliance is different.
