The Danfoss 130B1234 is the Programmable Motion Controller which belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive family. It is also intended to do high-accuracy motion control jobs like positioning, synchronization, and electronic gearing. The unit has advanced servo and stepper drive integration functionality with firmware version 5.01.
The 130B1234 motion controller supports high-speed pulse train inputs and outputs to enable motion execution to be smooth and efficient. The metal casing of the controller is rugged to provide durability. It also offers good EMC shielding, and the labeled terminal blocks (X55–X62) make it easier to wire and install. The controller works with a 24 V DC supply at digital inputs or outputs, which provides stable operation. It uses RS422 differential-encoded incremental encoders. This allows quality position feedback up to 1 MHz input frequencies. The 5V DC supply to the encoder input provides correct signal processing, and galvanic isolation increases noise immunity.
