By smoothing both acceleration and deceleration, the unit supports reliable motor operation on assembly conveyors, pumping stations, and ventilation fans used throughout industrial automation. This softer starting method can help reduce belt slip, pressure surges, and stress on couplings during routine motor starts. It is suited to applications where smooth motor engagement matters more than variable-speed control.

The control electronics accept a supply of 24 VAC/VDC, separating logic power from the main circuit for predictable sequencing and protection monitoring.
