Product Description:

The Danfoss 175G5228 Soft Starter efficiently manages motor startup with a starting current limiter and supports up to 140 A of continuous current. This module's compact dimensions (240 mm x 202 mm x 214 mm) ensures easy installation while providing reliable protection and control for industrial applications.

The 175G5228 soft starter is equipped with two relays which control electrical circuits by opening and closing. It is capable of handling up to 100 hp at a voltage range between 200 and 440 volts which signifies its power handling capacity for medium to large motors. It is suitable for environments that are not too extreme and is capable of functioning in both cool and hot conditions (-10...60°C). This module has an input voltage range between 200 and 440 volts of alternating current. It is designed to be mounted on a DIN rail which is a standard metal rail used for mounting electrical components in industrial applications. It can work with a supply frequency of either 44 Hz or 66 Hz which indicates its flexibility with respect to the frequency of the AC supply it can accommodate. It takes between 2 and 20 seconds to start and stop.

This 175G5228 soft starter has built in functions such as a smart controller which enables it to automate control sequences and integrate with a larger system. It runs using a control voltage of 24 volts of either alternating current or direct current. It features PID which means it uses advanced feedback techniques to optimize performance. It is functional within a temperature range of 14°F to 140°F and ensures reliability in a variety of environmental conditions. The module can receive continuous signals from sensors or other devices via three analog inputs.
